NLN Awards and Academy of Nursing Education Fellows Induction to Cap Education Summit 2009 in Philadelphia
The National League for Nursing Awards and Academy of Nursing Education Fellows Induction Banquet and Ceremony is an annual highlight of the NLN's Education Summit. Set for the evening of Saturday, September 26, it will conclude the four-day gathering of nurse educators and administrators at the Marriott Downtown in Philadelphia. Opening and concluding remarks will be offered by the NLN's newly elected president Cathleen M. Shultz, PhD, RN, CNE, FAAN.

NLN Academy of Nursing Education Set to Induct Third Class of Fellows
The Academy of Nursing Education recognizes the contributions of nurse educators to excellence in nursing education. A third class of 21 fellows, representing 20 schools of nursing throughout the United States, join the 65 fellows, who, since the academy's establishment in 2007, have proudly borne the credential ANEF.

Sessions Focused on Research (January 8 - 9) & Leadership (January 10 - 11) at the Omni Royal Hotel, French Quarter, New Orleans. Research poster or paper abstracts and/or Faculty Leadership poster abstracts are due online by midnight, Monday, October 20.

NLN Establishes Academy of Nursing Education Fellow Program to Recognize Nurse Faculty and Others Who Have Made Enduring and Substantial Contributions
The National League for Nursing announced today an historic step in academic nursing education, the founding of the Academy of Nursing Education. Individuals inducted into the academy will be designated as Fellow, Academy of Nursing Education and entitled to use the approved credential.
